Canada's Largest International Language Industry Event

The Canadian Language Industry Association's annual conference is going to look a little different in 2024. Our signature event is now WorldSpeak - a global get-together attracting language industry change makers from around the world to Toronto from May 23-24.

Our host is Glendon College at York University, home to the Canadian Language Museum and the official Southern Ontario Centre of Excellence for French-language and bilingual postsecondary education. Attendees will enjoy a reception at the Canadian Language Museum, as well as a full day of an exciting agenda filled with notable speakers in a contemporary, spacious auditorium. 

We will significantly raise the profile of the Canadian language industry on the world stage with this one-of-a-kind conference.

Le plus grand événement international de l’industrie de la langue au Canada

La conférence annuelle de l’Association canadienne de l’industrie de la langue (ACIL) sera un peu différente en 2024. Notre événement phare est désormais WorldSpeak, une conférence qui attirera les acteurs du changement de l’industrie linguistique du monde entier à Toronto les 23 et 24 mai.

L’événement aura lieu au Campus Glendon de l’Université de York, siège du Musée canadien des langues et du Centre d’excellence pour les études postsecondaires bilingues du Sud de l’Ontario. Les participants profiteront d’une réception aura lieu au Musée canadien des langues, ainsi que d’une journée entière passionnante mettant en scène des conférenciers remarquables dans un auditorium contemporain et spacieux.

Nous souhaitons rehausser considérablement le profil de l’industrie canadienne de la langue sur la scène internationale avec cette conférence unique.

A full day of programming will follow on Friday, May 24 at the Glendon College Centre of Excellence followed by a closing cocktail reception and an exclusive opportunity to see the not yet unveiled updated Canadian Language Museum.
